The Uprising
In the wake of plague and war devastating 14th-century England, a grieving farmer known only as Ploughman loses his family and turns his fury into rebellion. As the common people rise up against crushing taxation and a corrupt ruling class under the young King Richard II, Ploughman becomes the reluctant leader of an army of peasants fighting for justice and survival. Though the film never says his name outright, it's explicitly framed as a real-world inspiration behind the Robin Hood legend.
