Mercy
Mercy (2026) is an American science-fiction action thriller directed by Timur Bekmambetov and written by Marco van Belle. The film is set in near-future Los Angeles (2029) where a high-tech justice system powered by AI presumes suspects guilty unless they can prove their innocence in rapid digital trials. Detective Chris Raven (Chris Pratt), who helped create this system, finds himself accused of murdering his wife and must prove his innocence in only 90 minutes while facing judgment from an advanced AI judge, Judge Maddox (Rebecca Ferguson).
