Song Sung Blue
Song Sung Blue is a 2025 American biographical musical drama film written, co-produced, and directed by Craig Brewer. It’s based on the true story of a couple from Milwaukee — Mike and Claire Sardina — who form a Neil Diamond tribute band called Lightning & Thunder. The film follows their musical journey from small-time gigs to regional recognition, blending themes of love, resilience, family life, pursuing dreams later in life, and overcoming hardships. The heartfelt performances and nostalgic music celebrate both the enduring appeal of Diamond’s songs and the power of music to bring people together.
