American Warrior
The film follows “Jai Kumar,” an Indian‑American immigrant and ex‑convict working as a janitor at a gym. After a spontaneous heroic act — stopping a convenience‑store robbery — he becomes a local hero overnight. With newfound attention and determination, he chooses to fight in a local mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament as a final shot at redemption and a chance to rebuild his life, self‑respect, and relationships. The movie explores themes of second chances, identity, and the struggles of starting over against all odds.
