The Balloonist
Gaby, a mother to a seven-year-old son and a heritage chicken keeper, leads a quiet life in rural Netherlands. Her world is turned upside down when an arrogant hot-air balloon pilot crash-lands on her chicken coop, exposing deep-seated family conflicts and forcing her to confront her past. Over the summer, Gaby slowly opens up to her new neighbor, thanks to the growing bond between him and her son. But when the balloonist gets too close, she withdraws again, much to her son's dismay. Will she be able to make amends and provide a better future for herself and her son?
